Baldwin Park, California
Women's sober living near Baldwin Park
The busiest emergency department of any city we serve — 66,562 visits in a year that ended in discharge, not admission.
16 miles, about 21 minutes from the house · one monthly residency fee covering every utility, internet and laundry, with no deposit
Baldwin Park's referral story is one number. Kaiser Baldwin Park recorded 66,562 emergency department visits in 2024 that did not result in an admission — the highest of any hospital in the cities we serve. Every one of those was someone sent home the same day. For a woman with a substance use history and nowhere stable to go, home is the problem.
Treatment and hospitals
Kaiser Foundation Hospital Baldwin Park, 1011 Baldwin Park Boulevard, carries 271 licensed beds and 39 emergency department treatment stations. In 2024 it recorded 66,562 emergency visits that ended in discharge rather than admission — the busiest ED in this set of cities (CHHS facility data).
The city also has Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park, 14148 Francisquito Avenue, (626) 388-2700, at 91 licensed beds, and Vista Specialty Hospital of San Gabriel Valley, at the same Francisquito Avenue campus, (626) 338-1101, which holds acute psychiatric beds (CHHS).
There are zero DHCS-licensed treatment programs in Baldwin Park (DHCS licensed facilities). The referral value here is hospital social work, not treatment discharge. We provide housing only — no clinical care, no counselling, no case management.

Survivors of domestic violence
Some of the women we house are leaving an abusive home rather than a treatment bed. For them the housing question is the whole question — the practical alternative to a bed is often going back to the person she left.
We do not publish the address of the house. It is given only to accepted residents and to the agencies that refer them. And to be clear about what this is: Her Aria is not a licensed domestic violence shelter. We do not provide protective services, security services, legal advocacy, restraining order help or safety planning. Those stay with a woman's own advocate, attorney and law enforcement agency.

What Baldwin Park doesn't have
The CCAPP registry lists no recovery residence in the city, and there are zero network listings (CCAPP; Sober Living Network). A hospital discharging more than sixty thousand people a year without admitting them, psychiatric beds on a second campus, and no sober housing at all.
We are 21 minutes east, and Baldwin Park is a stop on the same rail line: women only, gated, MAT welcome, one monthly fee, no deposit. Refer a client.
Getting here from Baldwin Park
Baldwin Park station is a stop on the Metrolink San Bernardino Line, which runs east through Covina, Pomona and Claremont on the way toward the house (Metrolink).
