A short drive from Her Aria, a single building on Kingsley hosts a cluster of independently operated programs that give residents nearby pathways for family reunification, faith support, and practical stability.
Court-approved parenting classes
Saturday mornings at Christian Development Center. Ten-week program, biblical curriculum, certificate on completion — directly useful for women working toward reunification.
Gender-separated recovery retreats
SoCal CREDO Recovery holds faith-based Christian recovery retreats at Trinity Lutheran, structured so women teach women in separate settings.
Food, clothing, and hygiene supplies
Monthly distribution at Christian Development Center — food, clothing, and personal hygiene items for families and the community. No eligibility barriers.
Recovery Housing Network training hub
The regional recovery housing network holds its owner and operator trainings in the same building — the same network Her Aria is part of.

Who we are
A house, run properly.
Her Aria is a recovery residence for women in Montclair, California. A real home, with structure, privacy, and people who pay attention.
A focused number of residents, not a crowded house. That means real accountability, and someone who notices when something is off before it becomes a crisis.
The house is furnished and privately gated, on a quiet residential street. It is kept the way a home should be kept, because that matters to recovery.

Kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and appliances are all new. Beds, linens and furniture are provided.

A single-gender house, by design. Shared rooms in a welcoming home.

New flooring, bathroom and kitchen, with mini-split heating and air in every room. Residents move in with a bed made and the lights on.
Rooms
Shared rooms in a welcoming home. Each resident gets her own bed, her own storage, and a lockbox for medication.
The neighborhood
Quiet residential Montclair, minutes from Montclair Place, Costco and Target, with easy access to the 10 and 210. Walking distance to a church that hosts recovery meetings and court-approved parenting classes.

What's included
One number, everything in it.
One residency fee covers the room, every utility, the internet, the laundry and the yard. No bills in her name, no deposits to chase, no surprise fees — so she can put her money toward getting back on her feet.
Fully furnished
Bed, linens, dresser and personal storage on day one. Every common room furnished too — she arrives with a bag, not a moving truck.
All utilities included
Electricity, water, gas, trash and sewer. One number, no bills in her name, no split-the-bill arguments.
High-speed internet
Wi-Fi throughout the house for job applications, telehealth and video calls home, with USB-C charging built into the wall outlets.
Laundry on site
Washer, dryer and a utility tub in the garage. No laundromat trips, no quarters, no waiting on a bus with a hamper.
Full kitchen
New stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher in an open kitchen built for more than one person to use at once.
Open living room
A front room that opens onto the kitchen, with a large sectional and a television — somewhere to actually sit together in the evening.
Climate control in every room
Mini-split heating and air conditioning room by room, so nobody is negotiating over one thermostat.
Ring security system
Cameras at the perimeter and a video doorbell, monitored by the house — never in a bedroom, never in a bathroom. Residents do not have access to the system.
Private gated entry
The grounds are fenced and gated, with off-street parking. The gate is kept closed at all times for resident safety.
AED and safety equipment
An automated external defibrillator on site, plus smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers, checked on a schedule.
Yard, landscaping and pest control
A fenced yard that is maintained for her. Landscaping and pest control are handled and included.
Personal medication lockbox
A secure lockbox for each resident, kept and managed by her.

The neighborhood
She can get where she needs to go.
Most women arrive without a car. Montclair is one of the best-connected cities in the Inland Empire, which means a job, a meeting or an appointment is reachable on day one.
Metrolink into Los Angeles
The Montclair Transit Center sits on the Metrolink San Bernardino Line, with 44 trains every weekday — roughly one every half hour for most of the day — running west into Los Angeles and east to San Bernardino.
Four bus systems, one hub
Foothill Transit, Omnitrans and Riverside Transit all serve the same transit center, including the Silver Streak rapid line. Greyhound stops there too. One transfer point covers most of the region.
Groceries and work within minutes
Montclair Place is a short trip away, with Costco, Target and a range of stores and restaurants — which also makes it one of the closest clusters of entry-level and part-time work.
Parks and open space nearby
Montclair Skate Park and neighborhood parks are close by, along with quiet residential streets that are genuinely walkable in the evening.
I-10 and I-210 minutes away
Easy access in both directions for anyone who does have a car, or for family visiting on weekends.
Claremont, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho
All within a short drive, which widens the range of employers, outpatient providers and meeting schedules available to her.
We publish the city, not the street. The full address is shared once a placement is confirmed — a deliberate choice that protects the privacy of every woman living here.
Is Her Aria right for her?
Honest about who this is for — and who it isn't.
If the answer to most of these is yes, this might be the right fit. If it isn't, we will say so, and we will try to point you somewhere that is. Leaving treatment, jail, or court? Start here instead.
This might be right if she
- Has at least 30 days of continuous sobriety or is completing a treatment program
- Wants to live in a women-only home where recovery is the shared baseline
- Is ready to work, volunteer, go to school, or attend outpatient treatment
- Can manage her own medication independently
- Wants structure without being micromanaged
- Is willing to attend three recovery meetings a week — her program, her choice
- Is on medication-assisted treatment and wants a home that welcomes it
- Needs an affordable, furnished place where she can stay for months, not weeks
This probably isn't right if she
- Is still using, or needs medical detox first
- Needs 24-hour clinical or medical supervision
- Is looking for a short-term place to land for a few nights
- Cannot commit to a curfew, a house meeting, and random testing
- Needs someone else to manage her medication
If she has been turned away from another home because of methadone or buprenorphine, talk to us. Medication-assisted treatment is welcome here — barring it violates the ADA and the Fair Housing Act.
If you are leaving someone who hurt you
Survivors are welcome here.
Some of the women who come to us are leaving a situation rather than a program. You do not have to explain it to get a bed.
What we can offer
A women-only house with a gate, a locked door, and no published address. Visitors are approved in advance and signed in, male visitors are limited to immediate family, and nobody is told you live here.
What we cannot offer
This is a recovery residence, not a confidential shelter. We protect privacy carefully, but we cannot give you the legal address confidentiality a licensed domestic violence shelter can. If your safety depends on that, start with House of Ruth.
The sobriety requirement still applies
Thirty days of continuous sobriety, or you are finishing a treatment program. That is true for survivors exactly as it is for everyone. It is not a judgment — it is what makes the house safe for the women already in it.
Money may not be the barrier
California crime victim compensation can pay a housing provider directly for relocation, and DV agencies place women into housing they fund. An advocate can start that for you.

The rhythm here
Structure where it counts. Otherwise, her day is hers.
This is not a program and there is no daily schedule taped to the fridge. Adults rebuilding their lives need autonomy, not supervision. What we hold firm on is small, clear, and the same for everyone.
What we hold firm
- Curfew. 10pm Sunday through Thursday, 11pm Friday and Saturday. Later than that is arranged in advance, not explained afterward.
- Quiet hours. 10pm to 7am. Someone here works a 5am shift and someone else works nights.
- Three recovery meetings a week. Her program, her choice — AA, NA, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, Celebrate Recovery or another she names.
- Sunday house meeting. One hour, everyone, non-negotiable. This is where problems get solved before they become reasons to leave.
- Testing. Random and observed. Zero tolerance, communicated plainly at move-in.
- Shared household chores. A posted weekly rotation — kitchen, bathroom, common areas. Everyone contributes.
What is hers
- When she wakes up. There is no wake time. Work, school and treatment schedules differ and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
- Her meals. The kitchen is hers, with her own refrigerator and pantry space. Cooking together happens because people want to, not because it is scheduled.
- Her days. Work, class, outpatient, appointments, job hunting, resting. We do not fill her calendar.
- Her room. Shared, furnished, hers to arrange. Staff do not enter without notice except in an emergency.
- Her medication. Managed by her, in her own lockbox. Staff never handle it.
- Her phone. Not collected, not monitored, not restricted.
Medication-assisted treatment is welcome here. Methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone — if a licensed prescriber put her on it, it is part of her recovery and not a barrier to living here.
Before she arrives

The house is furnished and turn-key. She arrives with a bag, not a moving truck.

- Clothing for 7 to 10 days, including work or interview clothes
- Prescription medications in their original pharmacy containers
- Personal toiletries — shampoo, toothbrush, feminine hygiene products
- Phone and charger
- A journal, a book, photos of people she loves
- Headphones
- A small amount of cash for initial expenses
She leaves behind
- Alcohol in any form — including mouthwash, hand sanitizer, and vanilla extract
- Any drugs or paraphernalia
- Marijuana and THC products, including prescriptions and CBD
- Weapons of any kind, including firearms and pepper spray
- Medications not prescribed to her
- Furniture, TVs, or large appliances — the house is furnished
- Candles, incense, or anything with an open flame
- Large amounts of cash or valuable jewelry
- Anything that glorifies or promotes drug or alcohol use
She does not need to bring bedding, linens, towels, kitchenware, or furniture. All of that is here and included in the monthly residency fee.

Residency fee
Fees depend on which room a bed is in. We quote them on the phone or by email — ask and we will tell you the same day.

Being clear
How this works.
Her Aria provides housing, structure and community. Her clinical care stays where it belongs — with the licensed professionals she chooses.
Residents work, study, or attend outpatient treatment out in the community. That separation is deliberate — it keeps this a home rather than a facility, and it keeps her care with the people qualified to give it.
Medication-assisted treatment is welcome
Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are all welcome. Every bed is a MAT bed — no caps, no separate track, and no requirement to taper.
Built to recognized standards
Run as a peer-supported recovery residence and working toward CCAPP certification. We are not certified yet and will say so until we are.
Confidentiality respected
We keep resident information private and release nothing to anyone without her written permission.
About us
We came to this the way most people do.
Addiction moved through our family the way it moves through a lot of families — quietly, and then all at once. We saw what happens when someone is ready to recover but there is no safe, affordable place to land. We saw the gap between treatment and independence, and how many people fall into it.
So we built one. Her Aria is not a charity project or a clinical program. It is a house, run properly, for women who are ready to do the work. We live in this community, we know these neighborhoods, and we are here for the long term.
