Who we take referrals from
If you place women into housing, you are who this page is for.
We accept referrals from anyone with a professional reason to place a woman, whether or not funding comes with her.
Treatment discharge planners & case managers
Residential, detox, PHP and IOP. Step-down placement is the most common way women reach us, and we can usually confirm within a day.
Lead Care Managers & housing navigators
Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports teams at IEHP, Molina and their subcontractors. We can house a member while her plan covers her care.
Parole agents & reentry placement staff
Probation, parole, diversion and drug court. We provide written residency confirmation, house rules and testing practice for the file.
Domestic violence housing coordinators
Survivors are welcome, and the sobriety requirement applies to them as it does to everyone. We can accept a relocation payment made directly to the residence.
County behavioral health staff
San Bernardino County DBH and its contracted providers. We are set up to report occupancy on whatever schedule your program requires.
VA staff & Grant and Per Diem grantees
We are not a GPD grantee. We are actively seeking a subcontract with an existing grantee and can supply the documentation that requires.

Montclair, and reachable without a car.
We publish the city and not the street, to protect the privacy of the women living here. The full address goes to you as soon as a placement is confirmed.
The house is in Montclair, California 91763, minutes from the 10 and the 210. Montclair Transcenter — Metrolink San Bernardino Line plus Foothill Transit and Omnitrans routes — is close enough that a resident without a car can reach outpatient programming, court dates and work across both counties. If transit access is a scored criterion in your evaluation, ask us and we will document the specific routes and distances.

This is a direct line, not a switchboard. You will reach the person who decides on placements and who signs the paperwork — no intake queue, no callback promise, no third party between you and an answer.
What we can take
Step-down from residential or detox
Women completing inpatient treatment who need structure while they rebuild.
Concurrent outpatient or IOP
Residents can attend day programming in the community while living here.
Women on MAT or MOUD
Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are all welcome. No caps, no tapering requirement.
Reunification-track placements
Women working a case plan toward reunification with their children.
Justice-involved women
Probation, parole and diversion placements considered case by case.
What we can't take
We're a non-clinical residence with no medical staff, so we're not the right placement for anyone who needs active detox, 24-hour medical monitoring, nursing care, or clinical supervision for acute psychiatric symptoms. If that's the level of need, we'll say so on the first call and try to point you somewhere better.
On referral fees
We do not pay for referrals and we do not accept payment for them. EKRA and the federal Anti-Kickback Statute both reach recovery housing, and we intend to stay well clear of that line. If someone offers you a fee to place a client, that tells you something.

Placement mechanics
The nine things you have to know before you can send anyone.
No brochure language. If something here is a problem for your client, call (909) 817-1507 and we will tell you on the first call rather than waste your week.
| What it costs | The residency fee depends on bed type and covers the room, all utilities, internet, laundry and furnished common areas. We take no deposits, ever. Call (909) 817-1507 for current fees and what is open — we will also tell you plainly what a family would need to cover if your program is funding only part of it. |
| Who pays | Most residents pay privately — herself, her family, or another private source. We also accept third-party payment from an agency, a case manager, or a benefits program, and we can complete vendor paperwork such as a W-9 or a rental verification form so you can pay us directly. We are not contracted with any health plan or county at this time. If you hold funding for a client, call us and we will work with it. |
| Who is eligible | Women in recovery who can live independently and who manage their own medication themselves. |
| Who is not eligible | Anyone who needs detox, medical care or clinical supervision. Anyone who cannot self-manage her own medication. Anyone on the sex offender registry. Anyone who requires a locked or supervised setting. Her Aria provides no clinical services of any kind. |
| How fast you get an answer | You get an answer within one business day of the referral form or a phone call. That answer may be yes, no, or not yet — we will not hold a bed open or promise you one we do not have. |
| If she uses | Use is not automatically a discharge. The response is an immediate conversation, a documented write-up, and a plan. Continued use, or any behaviour that endangers the other residents, ends the placement. We are not a treatment program and we do not provide clinical intervention. |
| How an exit works | A resident who leaves, for any reason, gets a documented exit and referral information. Nobody is put on the street without her belongings and her referral contacts. |

Bed availability changes, so rather than publish a number that goes stale, call (909) 817-1507 and we will tell you exactly what is open today and what is opening.
Our commitment to you
Weekly or monthly occupancy reporting in whatever format you require. Same-day notice if a resident you placed leaves, is discharged, or does not return. You will never learn it from her instead of from us.
Response time
We answer referral calls the same day and confirm or decline a placement within one business day. If we cannot take her, we will say so immediately rather than hold your bed search open.

License-exempt room & board
Alcohol- and drug-free shared housing with peer support. We hold no DHCS licence because we provide no treatment, and none is required for this setting.
Shared housing, adult women only
Two or more residents per unit, single gender. No children. Residents are program participants under a written guest agreement, not tenants.
No treatment provided on site
Every clinical service — outpatient, counselling, MAT, prescribing, therapy — happens off site with the licensed providers she chooses. We build the house schedule around her keeping those appointments.
Recovery residence, no time limit
Some paperwork calls this transitional housing. Functionally we are a recovery residence with no maximum length of stay, which matters when a plan authorises rent in increments.
Funding
Where we honestly stand on each channel.
We would rather tell you this plainly than have you discover it after you have promised someone a bed.
Third-party payment — available now
If your agency, program, plan or fund can pay a housing provider directly, we can take that payment today and invoice you for it. No contract vehicle is required for us to house someone you are paying for.
Crime victim relocation — available now
California Victim Compensation Board relocation assistance is paid directly to the housing provider. We can complete the verification a survivor's advocate submits.
Community Supports & Transitional Rent — in progress
We are pursuing contracts with IEHP and Molina. Not in place yet. Until then, a member's plan covers her care and the bed is paid separately.
County recovery residence contracting — in progress
We are preparing for the next San Bernardino County procurement cycle and are registered in the county vendor system.
Reentry housing — in progress
We can house justice-involved women on private or agency payment now. A CDCR contract is not in place.
Veterans — seeking a subcontract
We are not a Grant and Per Diem grantee and cannot bill the VA. We are seeking a subcontract with an existing grantee in this catchment. If you hold one, we would like to talk.
Why referral partners choose Her Aria
A support cluster no other house in the corridor can match.
A single building 1.5 miles from Her Aria — Trinity Lutheran Church on Kingsley — hosts four independently operated organizations whose programs directly serve women in recovery. These are not Her Aria programs. They are nearby resources we help residents connect to when appropriate.
Court-approved parenting classes
Saturday 10–11 AM at Christian Development Center. Ten-week program, $15 per class, biblical curriculum, certificate on completion. Directly useful for women working toward custody or reunification.
Gender-separated Christian recovery retreats
SoCal CREDO Recovery holds faith-based retreats at Trinity Lutheran, structured so women teach women in separate settings. “Helping to bring Christ into recovery of all sorts.”
Food, clothing, and hygiene distribution
Fourth Saturday of each month, 8 AM at Christian Development Center. Food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. Open to families and the community — no eligibility barriers.
Recovery Housing Network training hub
The regional recovery housing network holds its owner and operator certification trainings in the same building. Her Aria is part of that network.
Women’s NA meeting nearby
Wednesday 7 PM, Bethany of Montclair Baptist — a verified women-only NA meeting, confirmed on the Southern California Region NA official meeting list.
These supports are independently operated and not guaranteed. Schedules change. We verify availability before connecting a resident and we encourage referral partners to do the same.
Certification
Stated plainly, because you will be asked.
We are not certified. Her Aria holds no CCAPP certification and no NARR affiliate certification. We are working toward CCAPP certification and will say so the day it is issued, and not before.
If your program requires a certified residence, we are not eligible yet and we would rather you know now. If it requires documented practice rather than certification, everything listed above is available on request.
One correction we offer freely, because it appears on other providers' sites: NARR does not certify individual residences. It certifies state affiliates, which then certify homes. A home advertising NARR certification for itself is describing something that does not exist.
Domestic violence placements
We take referrals from domestic violence agencies, victim services and housing coordinators across both counties. Her Aria is not a licensed shelter and does not provide protective services or safety planning — it is housing for survivors after a shelter stay ends.
