Privacy notice
Plain language, because this matters. Here is exactly what our forms collect, how it travels, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted.
What our forms collect
Three forms on this site collect information, and only what you type into them:
- The contact form on the home page — your name, your email, why you are reaching out, and your message.
- The referral form at /referral — your name and contact details as the referrer, your organization and role, and the details you choose to enter about the woman you are referring: her name, age, contact details, primary substance, length of sobriety, whether she is on medication-assisted treatment, what we need to know to assess a placement, a desired move-in date, bed preference and funding source.
- The intake form, which we send to a woman directly once a referral is under way — name, phone, email, an emergency contact, recovery background, whether she is on probation or parole, whether she is on the state registry (an eligibility question we are required to ask), housing and employment situation, income source, bed preference, move-in date, whether she takes prescription medication that needs storing in her own lockbox, whether she is working with an outside counselor she plans to keep seeing, food allergies for the shared kitchen, and anything else she wants to tell us.
We deliberately do not ask for a medication list, a diagnosis, clinical records or a date of birth. If a field is marked optional, leaving it blank will not count against anyone.
How your submission travels: ordinary email, not encrypted
There is no database behind these forms and no server that receives them. When you press the submit button, the form opens your own email application with the details filled in. You press send, from your own email account. Nothing reaches Her Aria until you do.
That means your submission travels as ordinary email, which is not encrypted or secure. It passes through your email provider and ours, and it sits in your sent folder and in our inbox. Please do not put anything in these forms that you would not be comfortable sending in a normal email. If something is sensitive, call (909) 817-1507 and tell us on the phone instead.
What we use it for
One thing: to assess whether a placement at Her Aria is a fit, and to reply to you. That is the only reason we ask.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell it. We do not share it, trade it, rent it or hand it to a marketing service. We do not use it to advertise to you. We release resident information to another person or agency only with her written permission.
Asking us to delete it
Email hello@heraria.com and ask us to delete what you sent, and we will delete the email and any notes we made from it. You do not have to give a reason. If you would rather ask by phone, call (909) 817-1507.
Her Aria is not a treatment provider
Her Aria is a non-clinical recovery residence. We provide no treatment, no therapy, no detox and no medical or clinical supervision. We are not a medical practice and we hold no medical records. Residents self-manage their own medication and keep it themselves.
This site is information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about the home and about recovery housing in our area. It is not medical advice and it is not legal advice. For medical questions, talk to a clinician. For legal or probation questions, talk to your attorney or your officer.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your choice of light or dark colour mode is remembered in your own browser and never leaves your device.
