For a woman leaving detox or a psychiatric hold, what this city gives her is short: a transit center she can reach without a car, an emergency room minutes away, and the only women-only NA meeting in this fifteen-mile radius. What it has never had is a women-only place to sleep.

Montclair Hospital Medical Center, 5000 San Bernardino Street, is a 106-bed not-for-profit acute-care community hospital (Montclair Hospital Medical Center) with an arrival-time reservation service for its ER (ER page). Before you route a psychiatric hold here, read the license: HCAI lists no psychiatric and no chemical dependency beds (HCAI record). Holds go to Canyon Ridge in Chino (HCAI).
In-city treatment is The Bridge of Montclair, which provides medical detox with weekly psychiatric sessions, residential care, medication-assisted treatment and 12-step meetings on property (Emend Healthcare, The Bridge). Women's meetings
The closest women-only meeting to the house is NA: Wednesday Women's Meeting, Wednesdays 7:00 p.m., Bethany of Montclair Baptist Church, Room 9, 9950 Monte Vista Avenue — hybrid, carrying the women's designation (Southern California Region NA directory). It is the only women-only NA meeting anywhere in this radius. Spanish-language Serenidad meets Mondays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. at 4980 Holt Avenue (same directory). For AA, women ride to Upland or Claremont; neither central office lists an AA meeting inside Montclair (Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley & Pomona Valley).

And to be clear about what this is: Her Aria is not a licensed domestic violence shelter. We do not provide protective services, security services, legal advocacy, restraining order help or safety planning. Those stay with a woman's own advocate, attorney and law enforcement agency.

Getting here from Montclair
Montclair Transit Center at 5091 Richton Street carries Metrolink's San Bernardino Line plus four bus systems (Metrolink station page, City of Montclair). Foothill Transit lines 188, 197, 480 and 492 all terminate there (Foothill Transit), as do Omnitrans 66, 84, 85, 88 and express 290 (Omnitrans routes). A resident without a car can get to an Upland or Claremont meeting and back on one day pass.
