Yucaipa, California
Women's sober living near Yucaipa
County behavioural health, a domestic violence provider and a women's meeting all inside the city — and the only sober home here is men's.
38 miles, about 48 minutes from the house · one monthly residency fee covering every utility, internet and laundry, with no deposit
Yucaipa is the furthest city we serve, and we are honest about what that means: it is a long drive, and a woman placed with us is leaving her own town. What Yucaipa has that makes the trip worth discussing is a real local support network already in place, and no women's housing to anchor it.
Treatment and hospitals
Yucaipa has no licensed hospital (CHHS facility data). The nearest are in Redlands: Redlands Community Hospital, 350 Terracina Boulevard, at 195 licensed beds with 55,847 emergency visits in 2024, and Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, 1710 Barton Road, with 89 psychiatric beds (CHHS).
In the city itself, Benchmark Transitions at Wildwood Canyon, 36442 Wildwood Canyon Road, (818) 209-5011, is a licensed six-bed residential detox, co-ed (DHCS licensed facilities) — a referral partner, not a competitor.
What is unusual for a city this size is that county behavioural health has an office here: South Coast Community Services, 34324 Yucaipa Boulevard, Suites B–D, (909) 790-0210 (SB County Behavioral Health). We provide housing only — no clinical care, no counselling, no case management.

Women's meetings
There is a women's meeting in the city: Women's Stag, Tuesdays 7:00 p.m., 13340 California Street (Inland Empire AA). Redlands adds seven more, including Ladies, Saturdays 11:00 a.m., 1307 Brookside Avenue (Inland Empire AA).
Residents pick their own recovery support program, secular or faith-based. We do not designate a program, require a particular meeting, or hold meetings at the house.
Survivors of domestic violence
Some of the women we house are leaving an abusive home rather than a treatment bed. For them the housing question is the whole question — the practical alternative to a bed is often going back to the person she left.
We do not publish the address of the house. It is given only to accepted residents and to the agencies that refer them. And to be clear about what this is: Her Aria is not a licensed domestic violence shelter. We do not provide protective services, security services, legal advocacy, restraining order help or safety planning. Those stay with a woman's own advocate, attorney and law enforcement agency.
More on housing for survivors of domestic violence, including who pays for it.
Yucaipa has an in-city DV provider, Yucaipa Outreach at 34282 Yucaipa Boulevard, (909) 790-9374, and Option House serves the city with a 24-hour crisis line at (909) 381-3471 (SB County). San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services is at 444 North Arrowhead Avenue, Suite 103, (909) 335-8777, and the District Attorney's Victim Services office is at 303 West 3rd Street, (909) 382-3846 (SB County DA). The National DV Hotline is 1-800-799-7233.
What Yucaipa doesn't have
The CCAPP registry lists no certified residence in Yucaipa, and the one Sober Living Network listing here — A Room For You, (909) 709-1642 — is men's (CCAPP; Sober Living Network). So there is no women's recovery residence in the city.
We are 48 minutes west. That is a real distance and worth weighing honestly — but for a woman who needs to leave Yucaipa to stay sober, distance is sometimes the point. Women only, gated, MAT welcome, one monthly fee, no deposit. Refer a client.
Getting here from Yucaipa
Omnitrans Route 8 runs Yucaipa – Mentone – Redlands – San Bernardino and Route 19 covers Yucaipa through Redlands, Rialto and Fontana; Route 290 then runs Colton – Ontario – Montclair (Omnitrans). The Metrolink San Bernardino Line runs from San Bernardino and Redlands directly west to Montclair (Metrolink).
It is a transfer or two, and we would rather say so than overstate it.
